Are you struggling with how to decorate your balcony? Maybe you are dreaming about creating a cosy corner or a small dining area that you can enjoy on those hot summer days.
We would like to give you some ideas on how you can decorate your balcony.
A balcony is a nice place to stay when the sun is shining and the weather is getting warmer. Most of us do not have very large balconies. Therefore, many of us find it challenging to make use of the smaller square meters.
3 good tips for balcony decor:
- Start by making a floor plan of your balcony. This gives an overview of how much space you have to do well with when you need to decorate.
- You also need to consider, how you want to use your balcony. Should it be used for relaxation and reading a good book, or should it be an eatery for delicious food and pleasant conversations?
- Last but not least, it is of course very important that the furniture you choose for the balcony is outdoor furniture that can withstand wind and weather.
Below you can be inspired by various balcony solutions that we have received from our wonderful customers.
The balcony café
The classic choice when decorating small balconies is to have a small cafe table with two small chairs. This is especially suitable for you who have a narrow balcony. Here, the space is used well, without it being too crowded on the small square meters. At the same time, it gives the balcony a cosy minimalist look. In this way, create a small outdoor space that is perfect for when you need to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun or eat a romantic dinner on a summer evening.
The balcony garden
Are you the type who loves to feel nature close to you, even when you are in the middle of the big city? Then our best tip is to plant and decorate your balcony with lots of greenery. Decorate it with planters and grow delicious spices that can be used in cooking. Decorate the balcony with beautiful flower bushes or a nice little tree in the corner. If your balcony is very small, it is a good idea with balcony flowerboxes, as they do not take up space inside the balcony itself. All this creates a lovely green oasis in the middle of the city - a green respite where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
